Thank You to All! Posted by Eric Stoffers Thursday, November 10, 2022 1:03:00 PM 2022 was a significant year, which yielded accomplishments and support for various hospital and patient programs, medical scholarships, and community outreach. Thank you to all Auxilians and Volunteers for your faithful service, dedication and loyalty! And to all community friends and neighbors who support the Auxiliary, thank you for your encouragement, kindness and generosity! Recent accomplishments include: Medical scholarships were awarded to five recipients pursuing careers in the health care field. The spring Luncheon, Style Show and Raffle was a great success with over 400 attendees and raising over $15,700 to benefit ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Cancer Center and other worthwhile causes. Major hospital expenditures underwritten by Auxiliary funds included restoration of the Cancer Center’s waiting area fireplace and the purchase of a wireless OB monitor. The Outreach Planning Committee extended aid to help those in need. (See Outreach news article for detail.) Volunteers continued the long-standing tradition of sewing Christmas baby buntings, eyeglass cases, heart monitor bags, and children’s bears for patients along with knitting prayer shawls and baby caps. The Gift Box Boutique sales provided funds to fulfill the Auxiliary’s financial pledge to ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. The annual winter coat and clothing drive, benefitting families of Lake Country Caring, was a huge success. (Please see article.) The annual Love Light Tree ceremony in December was a tribute to loved ones and special persons. Total hospital volunteer hours of 8,478 in 2022 provided a cost savings of $252,996 to ProHealth Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital according to the valuation provided by the National Points of Light organization. Since the 1953 incorporation of the Oconomowoc Memorial Auxiliary, over $3.9 million has been raised through various events, sales, and Gift Box proceeds. This amazing effort from many dedicated volunteers and Auxilians allows us to fulfill our mission of giving back to the hospital for patient care needs, hospital equipment and programs, health care scholarships, and worthwhile community needs. We look forward to a bright year ahead in 2023 and hope to resume more of our usual activities along with celebrating 70 years of serving the hospital and community. Please continue to support Auxiliary events and sales along with shopping at the Gift Box Boutique. THANK YOU!!

Posted by Eric Stoffers Tuesday, October 25, 2022 12:00:00 AM A "Fashion in Bloom" gathering of 412 guests enjoyed the Auxiliary’s annual Luncheon, Style Show & Raffle on May 9th at Weissgerber’s Golden Mast Inn on Okauchee Lake. A delicious luncheon, stunning fashions, and more than 70 raffle prizes contributed to the success of this major Auxiliary fundraising event.
